Ski & Snowboard at the Stubai Glacier

Ski- and snowboard enthusiasts absolutely adore the majestic Stubai Glacier with 110 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes, a thrilling snow-park, and the BIG Family Ski-Camp in this wonderful ski resort guaranteeing snow from October until July.

 

In addition, the 3 further ski resorts in the Stubai valley, the ski resort Schlick 2000, the family ski resort Serles in Mieders, and the Elferbergbahnen Neustift, as well as the nearby ski resorts and Olympic venues Patscherkofel and Axamer Lizum all offer an exciting day of skiing for all mountain lovers.

 

With the fabulous Stubai Super-Skipass (minimum of 2 days) you can explore every ski resort in the Stubai valley, catch the free ski bus anywhere in the valley, visit the indoor swimming pool in Neustift, and have four hours of fun in the StuBay leisure centre.

Stubai Children- & Family Winter

Children are warmly welcomed in the four family-friendly and award-winning ski resorts of the Stubaital valley. All children under the age of 10 can enjoy fabulous skiing fun for free at any ski resort in the Stubaital, if one parent skiing with the child purchases a ticket.

Cross-Country Skiing & Tobogganing in the Stubaital

The Stubaital valley entices all cross-country ski enthusiasts with more than 130 kilometres of perfectly groomed tracks for skaters or classic-style cross-country skiers. For a change of pace, go on a romantic stroll through the magical winter wonderland along the lovely winter hiking trails.

 

And for a thrilling ride, visit one of the 10 natural toboggan tracks. The path leading to the alpine restaurant Gleinserhof starts directly at our Hotel Handl and ensures a fun ride back down on your toboggan. We are happy to organise a fun night of tobogganing on the illuminated natural track with a special tractor-shuttle for an easy ascent.

Snow-Shoe Walking & Skitouring in the Stubai

Get whisked away by the romance of the Stubaital valley. Nature appears almost untouched, especially when you venture out off the beaten track with your snow-shoes. Experience the beautiful snow-covered landscapes and the unique tranquillity of winter. Another spectacular way to explore the winter landscape is by embarking on a ski mountaineering tour. Enjoy the memorable views from the summit, and ski back down the virgin powder slopes.
