Innsbruck and the Bergisel Ski Jump and Alpine Zoo

Visit the provincial capital of Innsbruck, just a short drive, with its historical old town and the famous “Goldenes Dachl” (Golden Roof), the 51-metre city tower, and the imperial Hofburg palace. Only 15 minutes by car or just as fast with the public bus every 30 minutes, you will reach the city known for its sports and great shopping in the grand Maria-Theresien Street. It is a city full of attractions and a colourful cultural scene.

Take in the impressive view while enjoying a coffee at the panorama café located at the ski jump designed by Zaha Hadid. It was awarded the Austrian National Prize for Architecture in 2002.

Or enjoy the highest altitude Zoo in Europe, the Alpine Zoo, at the foot of the majestic Nordkette mountain range with more than 2,000 animals belonging to 150 Alpine species.


Schwaz Silver Mine
